Lysenko. What is worth playing?
on: June 23, 2009, 05:09:25 PM
Dear members,
After almost 2 years of searching on the internet, I found what I had been looking for: the sheet music for Impromptu Op. 38 from Lysenko. (jeeh!)
Now, almost 2 months later, MBallen has posted almost all the works of Lysenko on Pianophilla. How ironical
. Many thanks for that by the way!
Anyway I like the impromptu very much and I was wondering if someone can suggest some more nice pieces. Because I don't have the skills to play them, how do you say that, superficial, quickly to hear how they sound. I apologize for my english. And there are no recordings at the moment of his music. So are there any Lysenko fans here?
Its good to see that there are some Bortkiewicz fans here as well.
