Lysenko. What is worth playing?
on: June 23, 2009, 05:09:25 PM
Dear members,

After almost 2 years of searching on the internet, I found what I had been looking for: the sheet music for Impromptu Op. 38 from Lysenko. (jeeh!)
Now, almost 2 months later, MBallen has posted almost all the works of Lysenko on Pianophilla. How ironical  :P. Many thanks for that by the way!
Anyway I like the impromptu very much and I was wondering if someone can suggest some more nice pieces. Because I don't have the skills to play them, how do you say that, superficial, quickly to hear how they sound. I apologize for my english. And there are no recordings at the moment of his music. So are there any Lysenko fans here? :)
Its good to see that there are some Bortkiewicz fans here as well.  ;)
