If you could choose only one:

Do you want to be the man with the answers, or
do you want to be the man with *insert name here*?

It depends upon what answers I may have to be the "man with the answers", whether or not
I am capable with the answers,  given the circumstances and experiences that I have acquired in my lifetime.  To be the man/woman with *insert name here*  is questionable because that would place me in a spot where I am not sure about the outcome of your question , db....humm....

best wishes,

I don't want to be a man...

Woman, then.

Do you mean the man with you?

If I were that important to you, maybe...  :-[

I put in the blank to mean that one special thing (or person), so it's really up to you. The answers are also up to you, having the answers means that you don't have to be confused anymore.

To answer my own question, I would say I'd rather be with that special person than have all the answers to my own life problems.

Are you meaning that  life wouldn't be fun with problems?  Or life would be fun with no
problems?  hummm....

And yes, you might want to look into Corelli's guitar music, you learned something new today!    ;)

If the unknown part is talent/knowledge/skills/abilities,etc. I'd go with that.  I wouldn't be so concerned with knowing why.  I would just do.

I think that goes with the answers part. You have the knowledge, you have the ability. The blank is more specific and personal. Your greatest dream, more like.

I could also frame it as, would you rather be the one who can do everything (but might not be happy) or the one is happy (but still has some difficulties). If you can do everything, that makes you a nice go-to guy, you can help people a lot, be a good influence and all... but the idea doesn't stick with me, there's something missing and I'd go crazy without it.

Great then, I'm your man  :-* :-* :-*  Care & Share.
