Ah, Gluck, a piece of the puzzle revealed. I did a computer search of my hard-drive and came up with nothing originally as I'm guessing the wording of the request had to be pretty close.
Anyway, I have this transcription by Sgambati.

Dear friends,
Guiomar Novaes and also the contemporary Nelson Freire (both brazilian pianists) have interesting interpretations from the Sgambati transcription. Thanks for the digital posts. My wife asked me to find this wonderful music.
Cheers,
Ambrosio
