Beethoven Pathetique Mv.1 (Video)
on: July 02, 2009, 06:31:45 PM

The first mv. of pathetique. I know there are mistakes and a big one towards the end - sorry for this, but I wanted to share. I'm waiting for your comments. I hope you like it.

Good job!

In the Grave sections be careful not to de-emphasize the dotted rhythm by creating a hesitation between the short and long notes.  If anything a greater sense of the dot is better than a lesser one.

The use of more refined pedaling and detail in phrasing would further add to your already good performance.  Also use of the una corda would be a good idea.  You could further explore color in the p and pp sections.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
