You have fast repeated notes and you must have a lot of endurance to keep K.141 at that speed.

Cristal-like digitation, superb trills, suitable mood, really ready to be added to Naxos' Scarlatti complete collection.

I only listened to the F major so far, but I'd like to second Rafant's comments. Thanks for sharing all these great recordings!

Great playing! Thanks for sharing with us :D Do you by any chance have the Kirkpatrick (NOT Kochel  ;D) numbers of the sonatas you played? I only know that the first one is K. 141.

Haha, sorry. And thanks for pointing it out. I was a bit sleepy  ;D

And thanks for the numbers, oreno. Your performances make me want to learn some Scarlatti  :D

great stuff. i like the way you shape your ascending and descending lines, like in the last piece. it has a very natural, believable sound. a few of your trills sounded a bit awkward, but overall i loved it. ill probably go and learn the last one now  ;D

Wow... this is a real lesson in Scarlati and flawless playing. Bravo.

If I had to find something to make creative critique I would just say that maybe you shouldnt present EVERYTHING there is in these pieces. Every phrase and every note sounds great the way you play it but after a while, especially in a live performance because you stress everything people get lost in the detail... I cant express what I want to say exactly... Just let some things pass and go away not getting our attention so that we can listen to what comes next or the things that you feel are really important over all the otherwise brilliant passages.

I hope this makes sence the way I put it... :)

This list allows you to easily convert sonatas from Longo to Kirkpatrick and vice versa, and even to Pestelli ! :o

Oreno, this is great Scarlatti, super crisp and clear without being dry. Your ornaments are superb, they complement the melodic line without cluttering it, if that makes sense. Good phrasing. Excellent piano Scarlatti.  8)
