I need some help trying to choose between these 2. I wish I could play both, but I can only learn one. Which do you guys think I should pick?

They're both amazing I don't prefer one over the either but if it makes any sort of difference Ballade no.3 is a bit easier than the scherzo although it has some tricky passages.

I don't know about easier (although I'm only going by what I've heard)... but the 3rd Ballade seems more beautiful to listen to (in my opinion).

I'm personally a fan of the Scherzo, but this may be because after hearing the first Ballade I just couldn't get into the others, it was too good. The Scherzo is extremely tricky, though. I spent months working on it and in the end it still wasn't ready for a jury. Gorgeous, though, and a wide range of technical demands to keep you busy, if you can't manage them yet.
