A wonderful performance despite the awful sound.  But the video is one of the best qualities I've ever seen.  strange.  Anyway, you really have to know the piece to appreciate what you did.  Otherwise it's difficult to hear those nuances, especially from middle c down.

Awesome playing, you own this. My only criticisms are the opening, I know it's supposed to be murky but it doesn't sound centered, somehow. This could also be due to the sound quality of the recording. And the very last measure, you backed off when I wanted to hear a final explosion. But really, an awesome performance of an extremely difficult work. Bravo!

What make of piano were you playing, a Pleyel perhaps?

Hi
Very good job-Bravo
In my opinion (and i am not talking about the general tempo which is too fast)
you too rush  in themes that should be more "Romantic"
your tempo lost some of the valse effect
But as i said thats only me
You deserve and earned all the credits and the "Bravos"

Absolutely spectacular! Wonderful playing, with noblesse, wit, and a great sense of self-confidence despite the difficulties. One can see from the video how much you enjoyed playing this. Bravo!! It would be great to listen to this in better audio quality - I'm sure many nuances are lost!

I only now realised I broke tha speed record on this... (which isn't always too good, and was not my intention!) Well, maybe because of stress I dont know... on the other hand Tempo di Valse Viennoise is relative, and I like them fast and spinning waltzes!

Yes I agree. Strange indeed, and yes the sound is muddy but that's also because of the hall - too low ceiling - strange acoustics!

Lol I take this as a compliment! Nope an all too common Yamaha!

:) I know. It's because a week before this one I did play it again in a recital of mine and I missed it! I hit the very last note wrong! Still I remember the sound. I dont think I will ever play this note in the right way now! And I mean ever ;D
