I have a 10 year old upright and had no problems with anything except one thing: its touch weight. It's like trudging through quicksand for your fingers and after every practice, at least one part of my body would get sore. Even during slow practice, I get tired. I figured it's not a relaxing issue, because I was fine practicing on my teacher's piano. Is there any way to confirm this? Fix it? Or should I get a new piano? And will this affect my technical development in the long run?

I've only heard of/played one brand of piano which has an adjustable touch weight--Steinways have some weird extra piece of something in them which allows tuners to adjust that. I don't think there's anything you can do to change your piano...
Looking for a Baroque piece. Suggest one?
I've been looking at:
-Scarlatti K. 115
