Yes, she is Atom Egoyan’s younger (and only) sister.

Eve is also a composer and did the soundtrack for Atom’s movie “Calendar”.

She specialise in modern repertory and her Satie is superlative. :D

Bernhard.

I got to see Anton Kuerti in a recital, which was interesting.

It was in a small little auditorium, much more like a theater than a concert hall.  There was some light on the audience, and whenever someone coughed, Anton Kuerti would turn and glare at them.  He also had this strange habit of tapping his foot loudly on the pedal, and sometimes he would swing it (his foot) outwards for no apparent reason.

His Beethoven was good.  He also has a strange liking for the music of Carl Czerny (the pieces, not the dreadful etudes).  He's put out a couple all-Czerny cd's, and frequently plays his pieces in recital.

I visited Antonin Kubalek's Piano Courses last summer. His masterclasses was unbelievable! Now they are offering big scholarships and I got half of prize... I am looking forward to it, because he's not only great pianist (he'll play Brahms No. 1 in summer and recital, too), but an excellent teacher!! And there was also Zdenek Hnat, pupil of Neuhaus (teacher of Richter, Gilels, Lupu, Zak...) www.kubalekpianocourses.com

Greetings

For a Canadian pianist from Vancouver, BC, I'll name Robert Silverman.

His Beethoven 32 Sonatas CD set is superlative.

Check out his Discography on his website. https://www.robert-silverman.com/

Cheers ;D

Doesn’t look like it. Have a look here:

https://www.eveegoyan.com/everepertoire.html

The closest she gets to “standard” is Satie, Janacek and Scriabin.

Best wishes,
Bernhard.
