In the words of Ricky Gervais...

"If you want to be famous, I just tell them to go out and kill a prostitute..."

But seriously - All you need to do is learn the great repertoire classics and play with with a level of emotional depth just like Pollini.

There - sounds easy, but best of luck to you...    ::)

Hard work, seriously to be popular you need to work on it. To be famous usually means being known for something, you don't have to be the most talented, but people need to associate you to something. These days I feel that their are far too many famous peopel. However nothing beats being famous for music or drama. So get on TV or radio.

good luck

The answer to this question should perhaps make a point of not avoiding the question of that "famous for being famous" factor; I do not know for certain the precise origins of that phrase, although one may suppose that it could have been some kind of offshoot of the expression "famous for fifteen minutes attributed to Warhol...

A quick glance at the biographies of today's performers, with the exception of their date and place of birth and some minor details, reveals a strange similarity between all of them. In my case, work has truly been the most important element in my life. It has been the essential and constant attribute of my central nervous system, the vertebrae of my career, and the passageway to all my preoccupations.

If youre a pretty young woman, best chances of becoming famous is playing the piano naked. If youre not that pretty young woman, you should get yourself an excellent manager, your piano qualities have to be only average.

I think skill is more relevant than those.

The sad truth of these day's media is that skill doesnt count that much anymore. There are tons of beautiful and excellent singers in the world, but its Britney Spears that got famous ;)

The composer holds the fate of the singer.
The popularity of the actor lies on the skills of the director.
The popularity of the performer lies on the abilities if his hands.

If you want to be famous, get a good composer  , get a good director , buy good hands.
