Beethoven Film Theme?

In the film series Beethoven, at the start of the film, what is the piano motive called? Is it Beethoven's or the film's composer?

Did you mean in Beethoven series No. 1 (of 3) “The Rebel” the song just after the premier of the Ninth Symphony?, it’s Beethoven’s Piano Sonata Opus 2, No. 1... the Adagio.
