Improv in E_flat- 10/07/09
on: October 08, 2009, 12:58:15 AM
Hi,
I was coming from my Communications class, its located in the Performing Arts Center on my campus, and I saw that the practice room with the grand was unlocked so I decided to sneak in and try to play something. I'm not that great of an improviser so don't be so harsh on me please
any comments/critique,tips etc welcome.I used my mp3 player's record function to record so the quality isn't all that great when I begin to play forte+ but that's mainly near the end parts.

Nice playing, keep at it and you'll get more used to doing improvisations. I'm not
good at it so it's great that you are trying.
best wishes,

Hey good job here. As go12 said, keep improvising!
I think there are good ideas here but somehow they dont all flow together, more like they are pieced together lots of ideas in the same key played after eachother.
These good ideas could be brought together with a repeting melody or something.
keep up the good work, invest in some good recording stuff if you can! allows you to listen back to your own stuff properly.
