Too late to send cukas application to RCM/RAM?
on: October 11, 2009, 02:11:35 AM
Hi. I'm a pianist, age 29. I have just finished at a conservatoire I was not happy at, and want to audition for a masters at the Royal College of Music and Royal Academy in London. I'm obviously worried now as the deadline for cukas applications has gone (1st October). Is it too late to send an application off now? Or is it still worth a try? I know these places are very hard to get into, but I'm determined to do it.

Thanks

If you read the small print and details on the CUKAS website (which I just did, last week) you'll find that late applications, after 1 Oct, will be considered but after all the 'in time' ones have been looked at. In other words, you've reduced your chances for this year but not necessarily blown them.
