Could you help me figure out the notes to this?
on: October 17, 2009, 10:40:38 PM
I really want to learn this. (in spit of its 12 second length) It's Frasier playing an improvised song; I originally thought it might be something by Michael Nyman, or the Heart Asks Pleasure First, but it is in fact an improvisation. Here's the clip-

This is what i've come up with so far- (Commas seperate notes, Notes played together have no comma seperating them)

In order:
D,A (below middle C, down a fourth)
F,G,A, (above middle c)
A,D (same as first in reverse)
B Flat, (Above middle C)
B Flat D (B flat above middle c, D about a 7th below middle C, both played together)
F, B Flat (above D from previous)
A (just below B flat from previous), Left hand plays F, B flat
Right hand: G, F, F (below

Sorry for the crude transcription, but this might help you learn the beginning quicker, could you post notes to the rest of the song?

Very grateful for this :)

Trying using chords to get the harmonic progression first.  Then picking out notes will be easier.

Dm, BbM7, Dm/A, A, Dm

Penultimate chord seemed ambiguous to me.  Could have C# or not (could be implied).  Could be A11 without 3rd.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
