Help me choose a keyboard? (Korg sp-250 vs Yamaha ypg 635)
on: October 24, 2009, 07:09:54 PM
I'm in college and have a very old Casio...it's decent for fingerwork but is not weighted at all (very annoying) has no dynamics (very annoying) has only 66 keys (very very annoying) has no pedal (very annoying), no line-in jack, and the list goes on
My budget can't really exceed $700 and after research I've found two (seemingly) good quality keyboards; The YAMAHA YPG 635 or the KORG SP 250, please don't limit yourself to these two if you have other recommendations
What's really important to me right now are the following:
~ Weighted more realistic feeling keys (to help when I get back to my real piano at home)
~ Good dynamics
~ Full 88 keys
~ Line in
~ Pedals
It'd be nice to also have the keyboard be able to "remember" a certain amount of notes played on a bass section for example, and repeat playing
Gracias!
