Piano competition 2010 Enschede
on: November 23, 2009, 05:49:34 PM
Hello everybody. ( :
I'm mabye going to play at the international piano competition on Enschede 2010! ( : https://pianocompetition.com/

My first round program looks like this:
Repetoire 1 Round

Johann Sebastian Bach:  BWV 893 prelude & fugue, B minor WTC 2

Franz Férenc Liszt: Pagannini etude no 2 e-flat major

Mauricé Ravel: oiseaux tristes

But i need some suggestions for the second round/final round! The whole program needs to be about 20 minutes in length

you have to play:
    *  A sonata (or one movement) by Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven;
    * One or more modern compositions (after 1945) at the participant's discretion.
      (The participants have to hand in 3 copies of the modern piece at the registration)
    * One or more works at participant's descretion;

How about the Rach 4th musical moment then?
I myself dont like much Haydn, however it is a composer all performers should be able to play.
And it is quite short, so it will meet the time requirements.
