Pachelbel--Cannon D
on: November 29, 2009, 03:13:07 PM
I just started to learn the 'non-easy' transcription for piano. The third measure, left hand has several instances of 2 notes greater than an octave. Browsing later on in the music, I see that this is not an isolated example. I tried playing the 2 notes first the lower then the upper (as yet without the pedal) and find that it just doesn't sound right.
Anyone have a comment or suggestion on this?
Thanks,
Mark
