Carol of the Bells
on: December 07, 2009, 02:12:57 AM
So I've looked up and down for Carol of the Bells by William Joseph, and I can't find sheet music ANYWHERE! Anyone know where I can download it for free? :) All help appreciated!

I've never seen sheet music to this piece, but I can tell you from experience that it is extremely fun to improvise with.  Just take the simple melody lines and mess around for a while.  You will surely enjoy it!

I found Carol of the Bells while looking for christmas music on the interweb. (It is the only
x-mas song I'm willing to learn) You can easily find other versions of the song, besides the one by William Joseph. Just take the sheet music and augment it.

George Winston has published his own version which is beautiful and easy to play.  Check out his 'December' album.

Melody Bober did a wonderful version of this piece  she's published by FJH.  You should try it.

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
