Tips on Stage Perfomance

Hey Guys...

Im abt 2 give an unplugged perfomance on stage..

So.. 4 a Duet song..

shud I play the lead notes along with the singer or play only the chords... coz its a round dedicated 2 acoustic perfomance..

Plz help me..  ::)

You can answer this question yourself really.

Ask your singer, What will she prefer, just becasue your not playing or following the melody doesnt mean you just have to hit chords.

Appegios, broken chords, runs and fills can be used, and you can chuck the melody in there aswell sometimes.

Do you feel confident playing the notes all the way through with the singer? have you practiced the song enough with her. Try different things with her and see what happens. You may find just following the melody is boring, or just hitting chords is too basic. Experiment, try different things and then you and your singer should answer the question yourselfs.
