How much is a Model 'O' Steinway worth, if you buy it from steinway(not from a store because ofcourse that will be more expensive)?

Steinway O, used/rebuilt go for low 20's to low 30's depending on region. A very good restorer is Countrypianos.com in Watkins Glen, NY. New from Steinway, they are around 65K.
You will not get a better deal at Steinway for sure. They really have their nose way up in the air. A rebuilt will run you almost as much as a new. Probably 50k. and just because Steinway rebuilt it, doesn't necessarily mean they did a better job.
