2 improvs, feedback appreciated!
on: December 25, 2009, 06:47:59 PM
hey,
here are two recordings of a full improvisation and a piece that i started writing then improvised for a few minutes on, I would really appreiate comments for both, I'll take anything that helps, hehe
Piece- full improv, I was hoping to hand it in for a composition competition after a bunch of revision, with the theme "momentary pleasure" although I think its too long for the requirements. hehe, still sketchy...

Nocturne in Gmin, I wrote up to the third minute then I started to improv in order to come up with ways to develop the themes, I would appreciate comments on this one cause I have changed the begining various times, but not sure how to develop it...
Appreciate any feedback..

A suggestion, since a lot of what you are doing is rather tonal it would help to clear the pedal when you changes harmonies.  Sounds like you recorded on a digital?  Holding the pedal on a digital sometimes gives a false sense of "reverb."  If you were to do the same thing on an acoustic you would get a very different result.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
