I vote for R. It has a certain depth, that the other letters don't have.
It has a certain sound: RrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRrrrrrrrrRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrR. It's  like combinding the eternal future with the past, in a post-apocalyptic way of saying "Hi. How are you?", with a scottish accent before it was invented.
Pretend you are a lawyer, but with the feet of a flower, which hasn't blossomed before sunrise.
You walk down a alley. The meadow smells sweetly of clover. RRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Because some people still have a sense of humor.

I vote for R.

Actually - I agree... My friends - a terrible injustice has been brought upon the english language and I for one would be happy to see it right. I am of course - talking about the brutal bastardisation of the word arse. You see - nowadays it is more common to hear people use the imitation word 'ass' which sounds wimpy and pathetic, and nowhere near as bold and as insulting as the proper word 'arse'.

So I ask everyone to give our good friend 'arse' with an 'r' a good try, and I'm sure each and everyone will find their love for it again.

Of course it's R: the pirate's favorite letter.

That's the one - from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Orchestra (or something) that is neither by Sir Terry Pratchett nor by Johann Sebastian Bach.

The extend of your reading is yet further than I already thought!

You may have read Sir P's Maskerade, featuring such all-time superhits such as La Triviata, Il Truccatore and the Ring der Niegelungen? Oh, and a Ghost from the Opera, of course!
