broken links particlury for older sites
on: January 14, 2010, 03:03:16 AM
There are a large number of older posts (many from Bernhard and 2 - 8 years old), many of high pedagogical value that are compromised by being full of broken links.
For Example
https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?topic=3430.msg30233#msg30233
I’ve noticed that the broken links in these posts are in a different format from those used currently
For Example
https://www.pianoforum.net/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=perf;action=display;num=1050165080
1. Is there any way to translate from the old style to the new style to find the post indicated (I can't work it out) ?
2. Is it possible to fix the links in these posts ?. I am happy to identify them if necessary, thought there could be several 100.
Regards
Shaun
