Beethoven's Sonata No. 19
on: January 18, 2010, 06:45:46 PM
I'm currently practicing the first movement of Beethoven's Sonata No. 19, and I have trouble playing the turns. I can't get it up to speed, and it sounds a bit choppy
Like in measure 18, I play the turn with the first B flat as a sixteenth note, then the C, B flat, and A as a triplet, and next, B flat as a sixteenth note, and finally D as a sixteenth note, now ending half of the measure. Am I doing it right? I need advice on playing the turns
While I'm at it, do you have any other tips for playing this sonata?
