Help please; nothing makes sense -_-
on: January 21, 2010, 03:38:45 AM
Intro
CG/BD

GC D
All that I am is yours
GC D
All that I have is yours
GC D
I give you my heart and soul
G/BCD
Lord Im yours

Lord every day is yours
Lord every breath is yours
Im giving my life to you
Lord Im yours

EmDC
You alone are worthy of all praise (x2)

GD
I surrender all to you
EmC
I surrender all to you
GD
I am nothing without you
AmG/BC
Jesus Christ, take my life
DCG/BD
Its all for you

CG/BD
Worthy of all praise

GD
Lay it all down
G/BC
Lay it all down at your feet

That's the whole song I need to play, but I don't get the notation!
What's an AmG/BC???

What does the slash represent?
Does it stand for left hand right hand separation?

What do Double chords on one side of the slash mean like CG/BD?

and what is G/BCD

Please help.
God Bless.

What is the title of this song?  I am pretty sure you are either reading it wrong, or it was typed in wrong.  Well I think both is the case.

There should be spaces in there... for instance:
Intro
C G/B D

G           C      D
All that I am is yours
G           C         D
All that I have is yours
G                 C            D
I give you my heart and soul
G/B C    D
Lord Im yours

I don't knlow the song so I don't know where the chords go, but this music is usually pretty predictable so I would put money on my being right.  When there is a slash, it means you play the chord over the bass note.  So G chord over a B in the bass (just means a first inversion here.)

AmG/BC
Jesus Christ, take my life
DCG/BD
Its all for you

Is probably:
Am             G/B       C
Jesus Christ, take my life
D C G/B  D
Its all for you

My doctor just told me that I, too, have given my heart and soul to lard.

Or at least given up my arteries.

Flora from now on....  :)
