Cramer-Bulow Czerny op.299 or Czerny op.740?
on: February 15, 2010, 12:45:09 PM
I played some Mozart sonatas a chopin waltz and also some Bach French suites and Bach prelude and fuge.
What should i choose between Cramer-Bulow Czerny op.299 or Cerny op.740?

If you want to follow the old technical adage, then all of them, but not at once. Not sure where the Cramer-Bulow would fit, but certainly op. 299 before op. 740.

And don't forget that Czenry composed some rather charming original works and transcriptions.
