How Many Hours Should You Practice the Piano? – The Lines Between Science, Method and Passion

It is a timeless question, a persistent voice in the mind of every pianist: “How many hours must I practice to truly improve?” It springs from a perfectly legitimate desire to measure the commitment required to transform our ambitions into sound, whether that means playing a simple minuet or dreaming of the world’s most prestigious stages. Solo in "La Bamba" by Ritchie Valens
on: February 16, 2010, 02:09:34 PM
Hello everyone. I have to give a performance next week with a guitar player. We will be playing "La Bamba" by Ritchie Valens. He's having a hard time playing the guitar solo, so I'm thinking of doing it. I'm having a hard time finding the notes for the solo, and I was wondering if you could help me? The solo starts at 1:07 in this link
.
If you could write it in a PDF-file or however you can.

Thanks!

Can't he just wing it?  Nobody will no the difference.  That's the beauty of live performances, you can just say you're putting your own spin on it.
