Mozart Pianoconcerto No. 24 with a string quartet?
on: March 02, 2010, 11:19:38 AM
Hi guys,

Do you know if this exists? To perform this Mozart concerto as a quintet, with 4 string players?
I know it is done sometimes for Chopin Concertos, so I was thinking that i might exist for Mozart too. If someone has the scores, or knows where I can find them, please let me know!

Thanks in advance!

Currently learing:
- Chopin: Ballade No.3
- Scriabin: Etude Op. 8 No. 2
- Rachmaninoff: Etude Op. 33 No. 6
- Bach: P&F No 21 WTC I

Never heard of it. But in the concertos 11, 12 & 13 Mozart himself made the wind instruments ad lib, so that they could be performed with basically piano + string quartet.
