Looking for recordings of Chopin's Op.2....
on: March 03, 2010, 03:35:43 AM
....without an orchestra.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the orchestration. I'd just prefer a recording without it right now.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There isn't such thing I don't think, for the same reason why people never record other concertos without an orchestra.

You could say that.

But there are many recordings I've heard of Chopin's Polonaise Brillante without orchestration, too.

Demidenko recorded it on his Scherzo disc.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
