So tell me everyone, how long did it take you to move your way up the ranks of the Piano Forum from Newbie, to Junior, to Full to Senior Member? Do you remember? Does it matter?

I think this has been discussed in the forum at under this one. It's not important, unless you use it as a way to gain credibility because you have so many posts more than others.

Sorry if this has been discussed before, I had no idea how to search for posts on this topic
Well, I think, subconsciously, I pay more attention to the opinions, posts and replies from "4-star" members. I read newbies' posts with curiosity and interest - hey they're new... the point of all this being that I think, from the readers' point of view it
does
matter.
And as you mention faulty, there are then the people who post indiscriminately just to get that "4-star piano-geek" cred whose opinions really mayn't be worth more than the pixels they're printed with.
Maybe that's just me being discriminatory...

i thank you muchly for giving me this easy opportunity to boost my post count
But really,I have seen, not on this board though
, but on many others, people with 2k+ posts and IQ's below freezing degree.
And then there's the 16 posts person who has more brain than all Mensa together
It's all relative ofcourse though, since there certainly also is the opposite.
Take this post for example, did I really contribute anything? Nope...Most of us all knew this already
So..once again

There's a search feature on the site. It's up near the top of the screen. I wondered the same thing too.
