might be the recording, but it sounds abit mechanic.

That's one of my favorite nocturnes by Chopin, and I enjoyed your performance.

In the main sections of the piece (where the right hand plays thirds and sixths), I was surprised by the dynamic balance between your hands.  Perhaps it was intentional, perhaps it was the recording, but the left hand seemed less an accompaniment than a separate voice in its own right.

I'm not saying it's wrong or unpleasant to give such prominence to the left hand's role here—just noticeably different.  I only thought it worthy of comment in case what I heard was inadvertent rather than a conscious choice.

Nice job overall in my estimation.  :)

thank you for the comments. Stevebob, I agree the LH does come across as being slightly too prominent. I did perceive it as being a somewhat important 'counter melody' almost, but I agree it should not distract from the RH, so I will remember to keep it under control in future playings. Thanks for pointing that out!
