Does anyone know of local competitions? I know there is the Dudley Piano Competition, but I don't know of any others. I want to enter one>

There's the Haverhill sinfonia competition, held in Haverhill suffolk. Initial entry is by audition tape, prizes include many recitals and concerto oppurtunities as well as money.

Thanks, I didn't know about that one. Do you know of any smaller ones in Scotland?

Sorry, I can't really help you there, you see I come from London! There should be some smaller festivals, there is actually one that I can't think of the name of, I'll let you know when I remember!!! ;)
