Does anyone know of local competitions? I know there is the Dudley Piano Competition, but I don't know of any others. I want to enter one>

There's the Haverhill sinfonia competition, held in Haverhill suffolk. Initial entry is by audition tape, prizes include many recitals and concerto oppurtunities as well as money.

For others, you might find some on this link:

Sorry, I can't really help you there, you see I come from London! There should be some smaller festivals, there is actually one that I can't think of the name of, I'll let you know when I remember!!! ;)
