Your username?
on: March 25, 2010, 01:52:54 AM
Just wondering where it came from. I don't want everyone to think my name is Mildred or something, haha. No, I got the name from a favourite book of mine, Of Human Bondage. Where'd you get yours?

His Beethoven Emperor recording is pretty wicked indeed! Actually, that's about the only recording of his I've ever heard...

Mine's an extension of "prongs"...yeah, I got into Harry Potter in my later high school days, and hence it's everywhere for me...youtube, my Yr12 jersey, even poker!

In autumn 2 years ago I went to the lecture, hadn't time to fix my hair (these were quite long at that time and in the morning looked like Beethoven's) and wore a suit with pullover. One of my friends said: "Hi, Maestro!" and that nickname stayed. ;D

Some kid in Grade 6 told me that maple syrup was invented by a guy named Nanabush.  I've never actually looked up on that... also in grade 10 (after I came up with the name) I had to read a story for the stupid board-wide literacy test in Canada, and there was a "nanabush trail" that these kids had to walk down in it... kind of a strange coincidence.

Very boring here. Mine is a combination of my university and class. The music department is as  small today as it was then so if someone actually went there and signed in on this site they might see my name and give me a shout.

I've always gone for short user names. It's easier for everybody.
