Hi wiwi,

Bravo!  What a gorgeous piece and performance!  This is one of my favorite Poulenc pieces, and you played it exceptionally well.  This ultra-romantic style is, for me, the best of Poulenc.  While his more witty and sarcastic pieces are entertaining, his lyricism can be so much more profound.  In this piece there are some harmonic glints from Ravel and the shifting tonal centers of Faure too.  Your playing of it is both thoughtful and artistic.
Interpreting music means exploring the promise of the potential of possibilities.

Very enjoyable!

Thanks for replying to a real performance of an unknown piece, rather than a junk performance of standard repertoire, which seems to be all the rage in the Audition Room these days.  Makes one rather sad!

You're very gifted.I envision something bigger for you than "playing in a bar" as someone
else here suggested.
The Kapustin you played is very difficult and you delivered in a fantastic way.
Hope one day you will present us a recording on a Grand..
I will follow you..

Sincerely.

Well-played! Sounded very thoughtful. Lovely tone and expressive phrasing throughout. Your technique is wonderfully supple. I would love to hear you play some earlier styles of music!

Your piano sounds nice. I'm not sure why people seem to think it's an upright. It looked like a grand to me.
