How dare you insult the Sonatines!!!!!!! >:(

Everything produced by Beethoven is a work of absolute genious that needs to be revered. Yes I feel honoured in performing the sonatines which are summary evidence of his genious. They need to be taken seriously.

So you asked me to do Sonata number 20. The first movement is perplexing. Does "allegro ma non troppo" mean "play as fast as you can"? Ok I'll start off with the traditional "students" pace.

Of course if it is to be played that fast, then it is a quasi presto. I can't quite play it presto, but I am sure you can arrogant "perfect pitch" (sic).

Not error free, but pleasant for me. Same goes for the 2nd movement...

"allegro ma non troppo"

Allegro, but not too much.

I'm blanking on what "as fast as possible" is at the moment.

You can't even play this right. And still, you think you can manage the sonatas? Hmmm...

I think he was talking about your comment in the other thread where he posted the G major sonata. You suggested that he should try the op. 49 no. 2 instead, thus implying that it is an easier piece (and therefore more manageable for him). He takes it one step further, as usual...

Possibly... but I'd still like to hear from him - I mean, he accuses me of degrading Beethoven, but I'd like to hear from my accuser to see what his (possibly screwed-up) mind thought of it!

But hey - judging by the recording he can half-manage it... now if he'd just stop flaming people on hear and try to control his technique and his fingers, he might be able to pull it off.

Perfect_pitch, I think Beethoven would take your degrading him (if you ever did) ANY day over SCP's playing of his music, hehe.  ;D
