Cirandas and A Lenda do Caboclo for you. :D
Did you look in IMSLP? His works are public domain now.

Are they? Where? Is Brazil not a signatory to the 70-year rule?

Er - what is?

Anyway, this might give some background to the subject of IP rights in Brazil
https://www.ecad.org.br/ViewController/publico/conteudo.aspx?codigo=48
although no term is specified therein. However, this
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries%27_copyright_length
offers all the information that is likely to be required to determine what is or is not in copyright although, as some of us know, there is no shortage of exceptions that are not covered in that document.

It therefore looks likely that the works of Villa-Lobos, who died in 1959, are still in copyright.

If I am not mistaken, the rule is 50 years in Canada, so it is ok to post.

The trouble with uploading is obviously that an upload beomes available to anyone anywhere, so the fact that a work might have been uploaded in Canada doesn't really help any.

Well, in the past we have gone off the Canada rule and have posted works that are within that range without problems or removals from the admins, so it must be ok.

It being OK doesn't necessarily follow; it's not up to me, of course, but uploading anything does by definition make it available for download anywhere, regardless of the IP laws in the country where the uploading was done -wouldn't you agree (in principle, at least)?
