TECHNIQUE TECHNIQUE !
on: April 15, 2010, 03:57:13 PM
Hi guys :]
It's so great to see all the passionate pianists here!

I have a very, very hard time with my technique.
I need some advice!
Are there any pieces or exercises that can make my fingers more fluent and fast(not just fast but fast and beautiful)?

I am working on some chopin etudes, scales, arpeggios and the WTC.
Is there anything else?

Enjoy your musical life every day!
Beethoven sonata no.30 op.109
Beethoven 32 variations WoO.80
Chopin Ballade No.1
Chopin Scherzo No.2
Schumann Abegg Variations

I think the best technique exercise for you involves clicking on the button that says "search," and then typing in something like "technique," or "exercises," or the like, and then reading through what others have written.  turns out, you aren't the first person to ask this question.  :)

since you're probably not going to do this, I suggest the liszt technical exercises, as I often do.  go.  https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/Technical-Exercises-Complete/3502970

Is the Liszt stuff available for free anywhere else?  On this site too maybe?

Don't play Bach anything like you play Chopin, though they have much in common.
