Playing with others

Hi,
I'm new to this, so bear with me!  I would love to play duets piano/violin or even in a trio of some sort with other musicians. How would you recommend I find people to 'play' with? I'm in Tucson.

How old are you? Do you have a teacher? Do you go to some kind of music school?
Ask ppl you know if they know a violinist, for example.. Just try to take contact with ppl with connections

Hi,

Thanks so much for your reply.  I am 59! I would like to get back into performing with a group.  Also, what would be a good choice for my free sheet music as a 'new member?' I am overwhelmed by the choices. I love Mozart and Beethovan and want something that will be a challenge as opposed to a struggle.

Well, Try the beethoven sonatas for violin and piano, or the trios. There's really no end in what you can try..
