Piano Duo in London
on: May 04, 2010, 04:19:54 PM
Sorry to post this in 3 different forums..... Haven't had much luck in either of the other 2
I'm looking for someone to do a piano duo (2 pianos 4 hands) with in London. I'd like to explore repertoire such as:
Rachmaninov 2nd suite for 2 pianos
Milhaud - Scaramouche (2 pianos)
Lutoslawski - Paganini Variations (2 pianos)
I'm a pianist / piano teacher / general piano guy in London with a decent technique (studied at a London Conservatoire) but have been working mostly outside the music profession since I graduated (I'm 30 now). I would be interested in trying some duo concerts and possibly competitions. If you are interested - let me know.

Hi there, I'm also in London, and have played the Rachmaninoff (great piece) and toyed with Scaramouche. Would be great to be able to play again. Not professionally trained (tho did pick up a diploma when younger), but have kept up a reasonable standard and would be keen to play. PM me if still interested. cheers. dave.
