Overall, I prefer a piano, but, it depends on what you want to do with it. Do you need portability? Then a potable keyboard. Do you want string and brass sounds too? Then an electronic keyboard. Are you going to try to become a serious pianist? Then go for the piano. A good one. The best you can afford without going to the poor house, if there is such a thing ;)

If youre in the mental state that you can even concider buying a keyboard, then you should indeed just go for the keyboard since anything musical probably doesnt interest you much :p

Keyboard all the way for me!  But yeah, maybe in about 10 years I may switch to a piano, as I've always had a soft spot for an old upright piano :).  But I would still reccomend a keyboard!

Depends what and where you want to play.   Can you give us more details?
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

Of course piano is best for playing! But still there are some things you can do with a keyboard that you can not do with a piano. So it depends what you want.
