I actually like the etude, but I'm not sure what skill it is intended to teach or to perfect. What did you have in mind when you wrote it? And is it part of a cycle or series of similar etudes?

That's cool! I like the idea of an "Etude for small hands," which is different from etudes for children because it can have all the musical complexity you wish.

Hey, I really like this etude. It's great!

Czerny wrote a set of pieces which don't go beyond an octave in each hand, and there are some nice melodies along the way. I cannot remember its name at the moment.

I'd love to hear more of your work.  :)
