Selling my Weber baby grand - pricing question
on: May 12, 2010, 03:59:03 PM
Hello all,
I am moving out-of-state to attend college this fall, and must sell my piano. It is a relatively new (10-15 years old, I'm guessing) Weber WG-50 4'11" baby grand. I bought it from its second owner (a woman who had inherited it but did not play) in 2008. It is in excellent condition, the finish is high-gloss polyester, and it has been tuned regularly and kept in a pet-free, smoke free home. My question: Is $5,000.00 a reasonable asking price? I would love to be able to sell it before I move (and thus reduce my student loans!), but I would rather leave it at my parents' house and wait instead of underselling it.
Thanks for any help,
Naomi
