Breakthrough in the piano world! New Musical Generation Summer Festival & Academy

Dear members of the pianostreet,

we had a dream to organize a unique event, which could inspire young musicians who are learning and seeking to become a concert pianist. This summer this dream will come true.
Let me present to you one of the most innovative festivals in the world - the inaugural New Musical Generation Summer Festival & Academy! The festival will be launched for the first time in Lithuanian capital city Vilnius from July 7th through 17th 2010. Also, there is a possibility to participate in five days session from July 7th through 11th, and from July 12th through 16th . The festival will present some of the world most outstanding piano virtuosos of the new generation. They will not only perform in concerts, but they will be giving master classes and private lessons to the academy participants. These performers will share first hand their wisdom on how to achieve the mastery of playing piano, and they will give some tips how to further develop career for a starting young musician. In adition, there is a chance for those outstanding participants of the academy later become part of NMG roster. Therefore, it is a great opportunity for  every young piano player to apply to the festivals academy.  We believe that the participation at the New Musical Generation Summer Festival & Academy will  be a live changing experience to all of the participants. The master pianists of the festival this year are:

Miroslav Kultyshev

Kasparas Uinskas

Ingolf Wunder

Alexey Grynyuk

Igor Lovchinsky

Nice idea.
I have sent my press kit expressing my interest in being a guest pianist for the Festival next season.

Walter Ramsey

Feeling a bit jaded, Walter? If young people lost interest in becoming concert pianists, what would all the judges do with themselves every time a competition came around? I think they might just go completely bonkers without hearing the temporal surfacing of an endless stream of warhorses that gallop just under the general stream of consciousness year after year.

However, I tend to agree (I'm jaded too), but maybe for just a few generations, until the current youngest of the best we have today become old (possibly jaded). Then, maybe a resurgence of focus on developing a few new concert pianists may prove apropos.
