Scientific books like Ortmann's one?
on: May 16, 2010, 09:55:23 PM
Hi!
I am new here. Then excuse me if this is not the good place to post.
I try to find books which are bases on science. For example, a lot of pianist even viruoso believe that it s possible to modulate the tone of a key for a same volume. This is wrong of course.
Nevertheless, pianiste are sure you can do that by playing more with the arm...
Do you know if books like the Otto Ortmann book exist?
Thank you very much.

The copyright is owned by Dacapo press who I don't think even know they own it! Don't expect a reprint soon. The good news is his first book is available at
