Live 19th February 2010, Litomyšl, Czech Republic

This is very hard etude, many people would hardly recognize, that it is written by Smetana... :)

I don't know what the previous comment was all about, but I thoroughly enjoyed that.  Wonderful playing!  Romantic feeling and elan and all that, and excellent technique.  Bravo.  The piano has it's faults, though, doesn't it.  No bass sound whatsoever.  It was like Linus from "Peanuts" playing the hammerklavier on his toy piano.

I also heard 4 or 5 stuffs.

In all seriousness, very virtuosic performance of this piece which is unknown to me.  I personally didn't care for the music, but I commend your enterprising spirit, and the obvious work which you put forth to make it sound good.  It's clear, effortless-sounding, and well-formed.

It gives me pleasure to be able to respond to a recording in which the pianist is obviously personally invested, and has put forth a lot of work to make it a good experience for the listener, and for himself.

It makes me sad, to see our colleagues in the Audition Room, who seem to be overjoyed with the most deliberately bad-sounding recordings, and ignore gems like this.

Thank you.

Thank you, people...
Now it has been just 5 months when I stopped playing this piece and honestly I am looking forward playing it again. It will be totally different experience...and result ;)
