[video] The Harebell - William Smallwood
on: June 06, 2010, 12:11:48 AM
Hello everyone!

I am fairly new to piano playing. I have started on Jan 2010. I would like to share a recording of The Harebell. I do not have a teacher, I am self taught (or more correctly internet taught ;)) and I would appreciate any comments or tips you can provide me with. Anything I should work on, change etc...

Here it is:

Thank you!

Well, if you learned all this in just 5 months through internet, maybe we were wrong to debunk the onlinepianist.com in another thread.  You play with such ease and relaxation.  Very good.  Go ahead with your studies!
p.s. Don't tell me it was with onlinepianist.com!

Thank you!

Hehe don't worry, it wasn't onlinepianist :) I did attend music school about 15 years ago, played a bit of accordion and then never touched an instrument for the next 15 years. And I play almost every day these last 5 months.

It is nice to hear I am on the right track! The reason I post this video on forums like this, is because you are the only "professional" feedback I get :) So thank you for your comments and taking the time and watching me play! :)

This is very good. You play with musicality.

I would urge you to continue your studies!
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
