But I'll just say here, good job! You got the big picture very well, and this is an excellent performance of this piece.

That's fine. Do you play any other Alkan?

No as I stated believe I stated on the Piano World forum I planed on learning the Symphony, but changed my mind at the last minute.

At least it gives me a chance to get acquainted with some of his smaller works and his general style.

I also remember hammering away at Allegro Barbaro but I haven't had the time or patience to finish it.

So that's all that my excavations into the thick and virtuosic music of Alkan has added up to.
