But I'll just say here, good job! You got the big picture very well, and this is an excellent performance of this piece. :D

No as I stated believe I stated on the Piano World forum I planed on learning the Symphony, but changed my mind at the last minute.

At least it gives me a chance to get acquainted with some of his smaller works and his general style.

I also remember hammering away at Allegro Barbaro but I haven't had the time or patience to finish it.

So that's all that my excavations into the thick and virtuosic music of Alkan has added up to.
