It's already been decided that I'm going to take my LRCM (Licentiate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto) next year end of June. Just discussed with my canada piano teacher about it today and she was just as excited about it. I will need a min. of 60 mins of rep and max of 75 mins(can include a piano concerti :) )

Anyone else planning to take it?

My teacher is letting me pick from this list:

for solo works:
J.S Bach Any of the Toccatas (BWV910-912)
J.S Bach Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue
Haydn Piano Sonata Hob.52 (which i'm already learning)
Schubert Sonata D.958 or D.959
Chopin Barcarolle op.60
Debussy Pour Le Piano
Mendelssohn Varioations serieuses
Prokofiev Any of the sonatas/other pieces in the list that suit me

for concerti:
Mendelssohn Capriccio Brilliante
Chopin Rondeau de Concert
Grieg Piano Concerto in a minor

I'm already in love with everything she picked for me...will still be working on the other pieces I'm currently learning cause those are impt for technique

J.S Bach Italian Concerto,Beethoven Sonata op.2 no.2,Mozart Sonatas K.330&333,Chopin Scherzo no.2,Etude op.10 no.12&Fantasie Impromptu

prokofiev is 20th century... I have to play with my strengths too right? since this is a performance exam after all. I will learn most of the pieces listed above and pick and choose from there.

oh, you took your LRCM already? that's fast

Sorry, didn't notice the Prokofiev.  I did a diploma years ago in the UK.
