on: June 24, 2010, 05:01:09 PM
EDIT: This was recently played during Enzo's solo recital last June 27, 2010.
The below posted link was the "practice" video played 3 weeks earlier.
I would like to thank -

Thank you for listening and for your comments.

I just had the pleasure of watching Enzo's video of Schumann's "Abegg Variations". Even though this is a studio "run through", there is much to commend his performance. He displays a through control over touch and tone, dynamics, pedaling, and expression. He thoughtfully employs a fine technique to achieve his musical objectives during performance to realize the intentions of the composer. Wonderful playing!

Overall pretty good, a little choppy in the melody sometimes especially the opening. Phrasing needs careful grooming now which I am sure his teacher is already tackling.
