this being totally off the topic of music altogether, i want to make a website that is a portfolio of my artworks and stuff but have no idea where to start. does anyone here know what i should do/where i should go to start making one?i want it to look all cool and proffessional!

First you need to secure a domain name for your site, like https://www.artwork.com or whatever.  Doing this will cost a little money and there is no way around it (unless you use a page that is sometimes provided by your ISP, but those addresses look unprofessional).  There are many places you can do this, but here are some simple links to get you started:

https://www.domainname.com
or
https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/domains/

You will probably find that the web address you want is already taken, but you can try *.net or *.org extensions as well.  For instance, I own 'roberthenry.org' and 'roberthenry.net', but my first choice of 'roberthenry.com' was already taken by a wedding photographer.  Just keep trying until you find one that is available.

That will get you going.  I'll post more about websites later.  Time for bed.
